Gujarati Green Beans: A simple and quick stir fry with coconut and curry leaves. Obviously, this is smashing with green beans, but runner beans or even sprouting broccoli works really well too.
Dum Aloo: A popular dish from the Punjab, in the North of India. Roasted new potatoes are added to a tangy, yoghurt-based sauce for a delicious potato side dish.
Palak Paneer: A lightly spiced sauce to complement traditional Indian curd cheese and spinach puree. A well-balanced vegetarian side dish, which will serve two if served as a main.
Tarka Dhal: The dish we have with almost every meal! Soft, satisfying lentils with earthy spices and garlic tempered in hot oil. Serve with a tangy pickle for a great contrast of flavours and textures.
Serves: 4 – 6
Shelf life & storage: These mixes will last for up to 4 weeks in a fridge and for six months in a freezer. Once cooked the food will last for 2 days in a fridge and up to one month in a freezer.
Gujarati Green Beans: Desiccated Coconut, Turmeric, Curry Leaves, Chilli Powder.
Dum Aloo: Spices, Garlic, Asafoetida (Rice Flour, Gum Arabic, Asafoetida, Turmeric).
Palak Paneer: Onions (Onions, Vegetable Oil, WHEAT Flour, Salt), Spices, Garlic, Fresh Chilli.
Tarka Dhal: Mixed Lentils (Toor, Masoor, Moong, Chana), Spices (contains MUSTARD), Asafoetida (Rice Flour, Gum Arabic, Asafoetida, Turmeric), Fresh Chilli, Fresh Curry Leaves.
