Cabbage with Ajwain Seeds and Garlic
Another incredibly simple and light side dish. Try it as a complement to any of our curries.
- Heat the oil in a wok, add the ajwain and garlic, and fry over a medium heat for 30 - 40 seconds.
- Add the cabbage and turmeric then fry for a further 2 - 3 minutes.
- Add 2 tbsp of water and cook until it evaporates.
- Season with sugar and salt, and garnish with lemon juice.
If you aren't a fan of cabbage, other vegetables with strong green leaves work very well too, such as kale or any spring greens.
