Malay Rendang Curry Pack (Serves 2 - 3)

Our Rendang is a combination of Malay ingredients and Indian spices with creamed coconut and tomatoes. This is a thick, flavourful curry with a zesty edge from lime leaves and lemongrass.

It's perfect with slow-cooked beef - braising or stewing steak cooked for a long time is ideal. Garnish with Thai basil (or a mix of basil and mint) and coriander leaves for freshness.

Storage Information: Store in the fridge on delivery. This Curry Pack will last 3 weeks in the fridge or 6 months in the freezer.

Try it with: Beef or starchy veg like potato or squash.

  1. Empty the pack into a pan with 175ml water, 60g coconut cream, 100g tinned chopped tomatoes and 1/2 tsp sugar.
  2. Simmer for 10 minutes. Add 500g ingredients of your choice.
  3. Mix well, cover, and gently cook.
  4. Season and garnish with dry toasted coconut.
