Saag Gosht Curry Pack

Serves: 4 – 6 Vegan Vegan

A great springtime combination of earthy spices, including onion seeds and fenugreek leaves, with vibrant, savoury spinach.

Traditionally, this dish is eaten with naan or roti with raita as an accompaniment.

Storage Information: Store in cool dark place. This Curry Pack has a minimum 3 months shelf life or can be frozen for up to 6 months.

Try it with: Spring lamb for the true classic dish. A veggie alternative that we're particularly fond of is chickpeas and sweet potato.

  1. Empty the pack into a pan with 300ml of water and simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. Add 1kg of ingredients of your choice and gently cook till nearly done.
  3. Add 4 fresh tomatoes and 450g of spinach.
  4. Using stir-fry movements open cook till spinach is tender.
  5. Garnish with coriander leaves.
