Vada Pav (Mashed Potato Burger)

This snack is very famous in Mumbai, and now across the whole of India.

Vada Pav (Mashed Potato Burger)

Instructions

1. Mix the batter ingredients together.

2. Form the cold mash potato into round golf ball sized balls (12-15).

3. Coat each mashed potato ball in batter.

4. Deep fry in batches in hot oil for 1-2 minutes, until the potato balls are golden brown all over.

5. To serve, split the bread rolls in half (toast them in you want a crunchier texture) and fill with chutneys and the vada (potato ball). Squish it closed and enjoy!
