Mango Sorbet
A sweet and refreshing dessert recipe using mango puree.

Introduction
A refreshing recipe perfect for serving on a hot summers day. This mango sorbet recipe is super easy to make which is why we like to make a batch of this to serve at dinner parties and BBQs.
Ingredients
Serves 4 - 6 |
850g mango puree |
680ml water |
100g sugar |
3 limes (zest and juice) |
Instructions
- Tip the mango purée into a wide bowl and place in the freezer to chill for 30 minutes.
- Heat the sugar and the water in a saucepan, mixing until all of the sugar has dissolved. Set aside to cool.
- Once the sugar syrup is completely cooled, add the lime juice and zest and whisk whisk into the very cold mango purée until combined.
- Put this back in the freezer. After one hour, remove from the freezer and whisk for 3-4 minutes. Repeat this twice more.
- Serve plain, or sprinkled with chilli flakes and fresh mint.
