Tikka Masala Curry Pack
Cook Rafi’s version of the Tikka Masala at home in as little as 30 minutes. Perfect for a quick and easy mid-week meal.
Our recipe creates a rich sauce with coconut and tomatoes, balanced with a special mix of aromatic spices and ajwain seeds.
Tikka Masala is one of the most popular recipes in the UK. A British Indian/Bangladeshi creation (theories suggest Glasgow as the city of origin, but this is disputed). It became popular in the 1970s, along with other recipes adapted to the British pallet of the time. It is now served all over the world.
As with many of Rafi’s recipes, it shows a fusion of flavours and ingredients to create a true ‘Rafi’s style’ recipe. Taking influence for this recipe from North Indian style curries, which tend to use more aromatic spices, Rafi paired it with creamed coconut (more commonly a South Indian ingredient) to provide richness, without being heavy and clawing.
Try it with: chicken or cauliflower and green beans.

So creamy and comforting! One of our favourites for a perfect fakeaway vibe. We like to fry onions separately and scatter them on top before serving

I like spicy curry but some of the family prefer 'milder', so I got the tikka masala pack to try. It was a big hit with everyone! The verdict was 'not overly spicy but has a nice kick to it'. I will definitely b3 ordering this again.
