Rafi's Mild Curry

Added too much chilli powder? Have guests with different heat preferences? Here are our top tips on making your curry milder.

Serve alongside some natural yoghurt or a yoghurt dip to help neutralise the chilli. We would almost always serve a yoghurt dip alongside a curry anyway, as the contrast of flavours is delicious.

You can also add more ingredients to your curry to dilute the heat (such as an extra tin of tomatoes or coconut milk). If you haven’t added the full 1kg of ingredients this will also make the curry hotter than you thought, so be sure to add the right amount.

We know how important heat preferences are and that’s why you can make any of our Curry Packs as mild or as hot as you’d like - check out our Curry Packs

We’d love to hear if these tips have helped you in the kitchen. Let us know your feedback on our Facebook, Instagram and TikTok. We love to see your curry creations, so please send us your foodie photos across.
