Pickled Onions
Serve on the side of rich curries

Introduction
Add a sharpness and a crunch to your meals with this simple pickled onion recipe. This recipe is great for serving alongside richer curries like the Moghlai, Ma's Paretal and Korma as it adds a contrast to the meal.
If you don't have lemon juice, lime juice, Cider Vinegar, white wine vinegar or balsamic are all good alternatives.
Ingredients
Serves 4 as an accompaniment |
2 red onions (finely diced) |
2 tbsp lemon juice |
Fresh coriander (finely sliced) |
1 tsp salt |
1 tsp sugar |
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together.
- Chill for an hour or so (or overnight).
- Serve alongside anything!
