Best Curries For Camping
When you’re out camping, you want something quick and easy that can be cooked all in one pot on your portable stove. A campsite meal with few ingredients so there’s less for you to carry around, but a meal to sustain you while roaming the wilderness.

5. Chicken Patia
Create a light, fresh curry ideal for serving while camping in the warmer months. Our Patia Curry Pack creates a delicate sauce perfect for chicken thighs or breast. For ease, buy ready-diced chicken or prepare before you camp.
You’ll need: pre-cut chicken thighs/breast, chopped tomatoes, lemon juice, mint sauce (optional)
How to cook:

Empty the pack into a pan and toast the spices on a low heat for 2-3 minutes.

Add water, cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Add ingredients of your choice, mix well, cover, and gently cook for a further 10-15 minutes.

Add fresh chopped tomatoes, lemon juice to taste and mint sauce (optional).

Open and gently simmer until cooked. Season to taste and garnish with mint leaves.
4. Paneer Balti
This is another camping curry perfect for serving during the warmer months. Our Balti Curry Pack is a savoury, tangy dish that needs few additional ingredients.
You’ll need: pre-cubed paneer, peas, tomato puree, brown sugar (optional), cider vinegar (optional), red pepper (optional)
How to cook:

Empty the contents of the pack into a pan with water, tomato puree, brown sugar (optional), and cider vinegar (optional).

Simmer for 5 minutes.

3. Chickpea Madras
A much-loved, family recipe that makes the perfect comforting camping meal. Our Madras Curry Pack is mixed with warming spices, such as mustard and peppercorns, and finished with tomatoes.
You’ll need: tinned tomatoes, chickpeas and butter (water and salt)
How to cook:

Empty the contents of the pack into a pan with water, tinned tomatoes, sugar and simmer for 10 minutes.

2. Chicken Jalfrezi
A classic curry to serve with your family and friends during your next camping trip. Our Jalfrezi Curry Pack is a classic and versatile curry with savoury notes from cumin, curry leaves and fenugreek (methi). For ease, buy ready-diced chicken or prepare before you camp.
You’ll need: tomatoes or tinned tomatoes for ease, green pepper, coriander (optional)
How to cook:

How to cook:
