How to cook a pork curry

Pork is a great meat to have in your curries. The high fat content keeps the meat moist and tender, making a delicious pork curry. We are sharing our favourite cuts of pork and a few of our curries that this meat works amazing with.

Pork belly is a fatty cut of meat that creates a rich, succulent flavour when slow cooked. The Vindaloo is the perfect curry for some delicious pork belly as the acidity in the paste cuts through the fat in the pork. This is another great curry to pop in your slow cooker and let it do its thing.

Pork shoulder contains less fat than pork belly and it's a tougher cut that's perfect for slow cooking. It also has a more pronounced pork flavor than leaner cuts, like pork chops.

Our Xacutti is a rich and appetizing coconut-based dish that will complement the amazing flavours of pork shoulder or belly. The cider vinegar needed for this pack, will help break down the toughness of the meat. The Thai Red is another great curry to enjoy with pork with its smoky and savoury flavours helping to marinate the meat.
