Cabbage and Ajwain

Serves: 2 – 4 as a side dish Vegan Vegan

This simple and fragrant dish will brighten any meal.

An incredibly simple and light dish. A great complement to any of our curries! Also works well with other vegetables like kale and spring greens.

Storage Information: Store in cool dark place. This pack has a minimum 3 months shelf life.

Try it with: Balti

  1. Heat 2 tbsp of sunflower oil in a wok over a medium heat, add sachet no.1 (ajwain seeds) and 2 cloves of finely sliced garlic and fry for 3-40 seconds.
  2. Add 500g sliced green cabbage and sachet no.2 (turmeric) and fry for a further 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add 2 tbsp of water and allow time for it to evaporate, this will help with cooking through the cabbage.
  4. Season with sugar and salt and garnish with a squeeze of lemon juice .
