Dum Aloo Curry Pack

Serves: 4 – 6 as a side Vegetarian Vegan

A popular dish from the Punjab, in the North of India. Roasted new potatoes are added to a tangy, yoghurt based sauce for a delicious potato side dish.

Please note: Due to shortages of fresh ingredients some of our products may be made using dry ingredients (chilli powder & dry curry leaves) - this will not affect the flavour of your Curry Packs.

Shelf life & storage: The mix will last for up to 4 weeks in a fridge and for six months in a freezer. Once cooked the food will last for 2 days in a fridge and up to one month in a freezer.

  1. Boil 500g of baby new potatoes and allow to cool.
  2. Prick the potatoes all over with a fork and roast in the oven with a little oil until golden brown.
  3. Empty the contents of the pack into a pan with 200ml water and 2 tsp of tomato puree then simmer for 5 mins.
  4. Slowly add 200ml of yoghurt, stirring continuously.
  5. Add the potatoes and a little water, bring to the boil and simmer until the sauce thickens.
  6. Garnish with coriander and serve.
