Patia Curry Pack

Serves: 4 – 6 Vegan Vegan

A delicate and fresh Parsi dish, which creates a light sauce that's perfect for Summer evenings. Adding mint sauce, fresh mint and tangy lemon juice really help to make this dish sing.

Origin: The Parsis have a Persian background so herbs are widely used throughout their cuisine. This dish is often cooked for an auspicious event and served with yellow rice and a lentil (dhal) dish.

.Storage Information: Store in cool dark place. This Curry Pack has a minimum 3 months shelf life or can be frozen for up to 6 months.

Try it with: Firm white fish and/or prawns.

  1. Empty the pack into a pan and toast the spices on a low heat for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add 300ml water, cover and simmer for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add 1kg ingredients of your choice, mix well, cover, and gently cook for a further 10-15 minutes.
  4. Add 4 fresh chopped tomatoes, lemon juice to taste, and ½ tsp mint sauce.
  5. Open and gently simmer until cooked. Season to taste and garnish with mint leaves.

It should be noted that this pack may contain traces of PEANUTS, NUTS, SESAME SEEDS, SOYA, MUSTARD, CELERY, MILK and other CEREALS containing GLUTEN due to possible cross-contamination.
