Pilau Rice (2-3) 150g

Serves: 2 – 3 Vegan Vegan

This is Rafi's fail-safe method for cooking the perfect pilau rice, we've just made it slightly smaller to pair with our smaller Curry Packs. Our Pack blends high-quality basmati rice and a mix of fragrant spices to help you make this essential accompaniment.

Storage Information: Store in cool dark place. This pack has a minimum 6 months shelf life.

  1. Heat 2 tsp oil in a saucepan, empty in the contents of the pack and fry for 2 minutes.
  2. Add 250ml cold water and a pinch of salt.
  3. Bring to the boil, cover and cook on a low heat for 10 minutes without lifting the lid.
  4. Take off heat and leave to rest for 5 minutes.
  5. Toss grains gently with a fork to serve.
