Tarka Yoghurt Spice Blend

Serves: 2 – 4 as a side dish Vegan Vegan

We often take a Tarka Yoghurt to parties as a dip for crisps and crudités as it is quite unusual. It's also great served alongside any Indian inspired meal.

This is wonderful as an accompaniment to any hot or spicy meal, be it a curry or a BBQ!

Please note this pack is made with fresh curry leaves.

Storage instructions: Store in the fridge on delivery. This pack will last 4 weeks in the fridge or 6 months in the freezer.

Try it with: Bhajias

  1. In a serving bowl, mix 425g of natural yoghurt, adding salt to taste and set aside for later.
  2. In a small frying pan, heat 4 tbsp of oil and the contents of the spice sachet, frying over a medium heat until the mustard seeds crackle. remove from heat and pour over the yoghurt.
  3. Cover with a lid and chill in a fridge until you are ready to serve.
  4. Fold the tarka spices into the yoghurt just before serving.

Cumin, MUSTARD, dry chilli, turmeric, asafoetida (Rice flour, Gum Arabic, Asafoetida, Turmeric), Dry Curry Leaves.
