Gathiya sticks are a popular tea-time snack. This is a Jamnagari-style recipe from the city of Jamnagar in Gujarat. These soft, light nibbles are made from gram (chickpea) flour and spiced with ajwain, asafoetida and black pepper.

Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
