Garam Masala means “hot” or “warm” masala, however, this is does not typically mean 'chilli heat', rather the ayurvedic warming properties of spices like clove, cinnamon and pepper.
Amongst these warming spices, you'll also find savoury notes from cumin and an aromatics from green cardamon.
We toast & roast our spices in house meaning they don't need extended cooking. We then hand-blend in small batches to preserve their flavour and freshness.

How to use: We recommend using this in recipes alongside other whole spices and powders. Add to taste, near the end of cooking. As a guide, use 1-2 tsp per 500g of ingredients.
