Red Cabbage Slaw

Serve it in pittas, sandwiches and even burgers!

Serves: 4-6 | Ready in: 10

Red Cabbage Slaw

Instructions

  1. Slice the cabbage and onions as finely as possible.
  2. Add the sugar to the lemon juice to dissolve and add to the cabbage and stir well.
  3. Heat the oil in a small frying pan. When hot, add the cumin seeds and curry leaves. Fry on a medium heat until the cumin seeds start to crackle. Remove the pan from the heat and leave to cool.
  4. Once the oil is cool pour over the cabbage and stir well, season to taste and leave overnight in the fridge to develop flavours.
