Red Cabbage Slaw
Serve it in pittas, sandwiches and even burgers!
Instructions
- Slice the cabbage and onions as finely as possible.
- Add the sugar to the lemon juice to dissolve and add to the cabbage and stir well.
- Heat the oil in a small frying pan. When hot, add the cumin seeds and curry leaves. Fry on a medium heat until the cumin seeds start to crackle. Remove the pan from the heat and leave to cool.
- Once the oil is cool pour over the cabbage and stir well, season to taste and leave overnight in the fridge to develop flavours.
