Chicken Jalfrezi
One of the original dishes on our menu - A real family favourite.
Instructions
1. Chop the chicken thighs into pieces, the tomatoes into quarters and green pepper into large chunks - this is so the ingredients retain some texture.
2. Empty your Jalfrezi Curry Pack into a pan and toast the spices on a low-medium heat for 2-3 minutes.
3. Add water, mix, then cover and cook for 5-10 minutes on a low-medium heat.
4. After 5-10 minutes, you should start to see oil sitting on the sauce - this means the curry is ready for your chicken. Add the chicken thighs, mix well, cover for 15 minutes on a low-medium heat.
5. Add the green pepper, fresh tomatoes and sugar. Return the lid for another 5 minutes.
6. For the last 5 minutes of cooking, remove the lid reduce the sauce and finish cooking.
7. Garnish with a large handful of chopped fresh coriander and season with salt, to taste. Serve and enjoy!
